We adored Casa Ferrari - for it's terrific location, antique Italian furniture, great coffee and not least, its lovely hosts, Ludmil and Marianna. We felt like we had a little home there. Be sure to ask Ludmil for touring recommendations - he's a wonderful resource - we loved our day trip to Rila Monestary and Boyana Church. You will be very comfortable and cared for here.

This is a great place to stay! I've been there twice and will continue to do so in future trips. The owners are very knowledgeable about Bulgaria and are a wealth of information. The B & B is clean, located in a very convenient part of town, and full of beautiful Italian antique furniture.
Highly recommended!!!

A huge thanks to Ludmil and Marianna at the Casa Ferrari B&B in Sofia for helping us get so much out of Bulgaria.
They gave us a very warm welcome, insightful suggestions on where to travel, where to eat and how to get there; wonderful day trips out of Sophia with lively and interesting commentary from Ludmil; and a very friendly (and very classy) place to stay just a short stroll from central Sofia.
The attention to detail in the B&B and its cleanliness are very impressive.

Thanks so much to both of you for so positively shaping our Bulgarian experience.
Cheers

I stayed two days at Casa Ferrari, and was exceedingly well taken care of by the proprietors. They accommodated my schedule , and arranged for my crazy-early departure. They were very friendly and forthcoming.
The place itself is a calm little oasis. The breakfast was good. The wireless internet much appreciated. If I were to change one thing -- make the bed in room 1 a little larger, and a little harder.

Arriving during a snowstorm for an overnight stay, knowing not a word of Bulgarian, the owner could not have been more helpful. He provided city guides, and suggested an afternoon walking tour seeing the major sights around the city centre.
Clean comfortable room ideally suited to our needs. Location is easy walk from the city centre, and yet amazingly little noise from the streets outside.
I recommend it, you will loved it!!

Great location: Casa Ferrari is centrally located in Sofia and in a good neighborhood; Over the top friendly innkeepers who speak and understand English very well; Very clean and well-maintained accomodations; computer with high speed internet connection complimentary with stay; excellent and plentiful breakfast each morning; I have travelled abroad for over 30 years and have come to prefer this homey type of lodging over large chain hotels.

Ludmil and Marianna Mandichov are innkeepers extraordinaire and their prices are competitive. |
