i dont no what some brits expect but they need to get a life and enjoy the hotel was nice and clean the staff were ok the cleaners were good the breakfast was good i will be going back again to this hotel some brits just need to chill

I liked the hotel, but the staff was so rude. when we last our key they didnt want to help us =( the breakfast was okey, but we wasnt awake before 10 aclock so.. But i liked it, close to the beach and a nice hotel!

i rather spent my time in prision and not in this hotel.
staff very rude not helpfull in any way.except if u speak russian or german . room no air con small bathroom couldnt even swing a cat in there.

was at this hotel in june 2007. The rooms were basic but not 3*what we booked more like 2* clean towels every day room cleaned every day to.food yuck ate out the whole 2 week there..the resort is great night life brill beach is beautifull water very warm.

On the whole a good hotel in an excellent location. Quite literally 50 yds from the beach. The hotel is geared for Germans and Dutch but we have two teenage kids and we all ate breakfast in the hotal and the evening meal most nights. Both were ok nothing exceptional but i can honestly say that I have eaten is worse hotels in the UK!

But the best thing about this hotel is its location!

the hotel was very nice and clean,maids were very nice and always did a very clean job however the staff at the counter and porters were rude and not helpfull at all unless you were russia or german,food was not that good and the waiters was as bad as the porters and counter staff.
verdict nice hotel shame about personal but this does not reflect on all the other bulgarians as they were very pleasant and helpfull

I was been last and this year again in this hotel with my familly and I recomended to all to visit sunny beach and to stay in this hotel.

Hi we went to Sunny Beach last year nice place i think all the hotels are very much the same, but as they are not in the EU yet give them time, we looked at a lot of hotel while there and Victoria palace looked very nice we are staying there this year. There is lots to do things to see and paces to go good night life everywhere and most people are friendly. It is nice and cheap so money can go a long way. As for all the comments people have put on here about bad things and places you get that where ever you go some good some bad so make your own mind up your holiday is what you make it so have fun.

Good points:
Hotel is situated next to the beach.

Bad points:
No aircon, limited choice for meals.

Glarus Hotel is situated next to the beach and a few steps from the centre; family rooms have a door between for privacy. There is no air conditioning in the rooms though. There are only two small lifts and there is a limited choice at meal time. The noise from the street is quite loud.

As we only booked the week before i was a bit worried, but when we arrived at the hotel altho it was in the early hours of the morning, porters were there to carry our luggage. After checking in and seen the room on the second floor we were happy. In the morning looking out on the balcony the beach was there in front of us, couldnt believe it great. we were happy with the room very clean got cleaned every day if not in the morming the afternoon. we were there 2 weeks and sheets changed regular towels every 2 days.
we were half board, but could always eat the meals, fussy people seemed to always eat out.
drinks were cheap but we stuck to the local beers 5 Lev for 2 pints[£1-30p]
every night was happy hour for cocktails from7pm till midnight.
got them some time but couldnt taste the the spirits lol.
the rep was very helpful. I didn't see a lot of herbut she did explain every thing i wanted to know.
Taxi's bus and the small train round the streets were very cheap.
We went to the old town of Nessebar not a one to miss got a taxi might have been a bit dearer but the buses were all full the Glarus hotel is on the north side of sunny beach but a steady walk along the front looking in all the stalls along the way in very interesting. at the south side there is centre with lots more stalls we would go back to this hotel in sunny beach.
