Lots and lots of people are coming to the resort, some of them have been here many times for the past years and though keep on staying in Borovets as the resort has a lot to offer. Firstly and most impressive is the unbelievable nature, the white sunny pistes make you hurry to put your skis on! Secondly come the hotels, most of them are really good, offering high class accommodation. Last but not least, who could miss a resort where a beer is worth 0,70p! |

 The oldest resort dating back to the year of 1896. Today Borovetz is the biggest, first-class mountain resort in Bulgaria. Situated at 1350m above the sea level on the northern slopes of Rila Mountain among age-old pine woods, Borovetz is located at the foot of peak Mussala (2925m) - the highest one on the Balkan Peninsula. It is easily accessible, being at a distance of 73km from Sofia and 126km from Plovdiv. The town of Samokov is only 10km down the road from the resort. There is regular bus transport to them, the buses to Samokov running every 30 minutes.

Rila hotel used to be the biggest on the Balkan peninsula for years now, impressing with its 1300 beds. The hotel itself is divided into two main parts- one is for the double rooms, and the studios are in the other part. Half rooms/ studios are facing south and have amazing view to the slopes. The new joinery of Rila hotel made the rooms quite suitable for a good relax even though in the city centre with lots of restaurants and discos around.

Samokov hotel is one of the best known in the resort. Rooms were renovated in the autumn of 2004 and offer really good quality. Advantage is that bathroom and WC are separate. Samokov hotel has always been a "high class" hotel, its atmosphere has been created by the very hotel's architecture, polite personnel, ultra cleanliness. Not to forget about the Olympic sized swimming pool, bowling, enormous lobby bar. Restaurant offers life music in the evening, while having your dinner.
