A Million-Lev Advertising Campaign of Bulgarian Black Sea Resorts

One million levs have been spent on the advertisement of the Bulgarian Black Sea resorts. "The popularization campaign of Bulgaria's summer resorts started at the beginning of July and would end in September," Anelia Krushkova, head of the state tourist agency, said in Varna. The promotion campaign will be most active in the countries whose citizens traditionally prefer to spend their summer vacations in Bulgaria. The campaign goes on in Romania: the flow of Romanian tourists to Bulgaria has increased by 57%. On the other hand, traditionally active tourists markets like this in Serbia mark a shrink of 35%, in Macedonia - 5.7%, in Germany - 7.3%. Some 35% less Britons will spend the summer holidays in Bulgaria, despite the fact that they own over 40,000 homes in this country.
