“A window to the world” is the project of the foundation “Devetashko plateau"

“A window to the world” is the new project for tourist activity of the foundation “Devetashko Plateau”, commented the chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the foundation, Mrs. Taralejkova. The project includes the creation of tourist and information centres in nine villages in the municipalities Lovech, Letnitsa and Sevlievo, which are situated in the region of Devetaki Plateau and in close proximity to Devetaki Cave, famous for being one of the natural phenomena of Bulgaria. Through the tourist and information centers information, advertisements and administrative services will be provided to local people and tourists who visit Devetashko Plateau and the cave, as well as other natural and historical landmarks. Bulgarian organization in cooperation with Norwegian tourist organization will present various models and nine sub-projects within the project, such as bicycles routes, eco routes, sport and children facilities, peaceful places, as well as animals and birds observation. The project is estimated at 121 000 EUR and it is financed by the Norwegian programme for cooperation. The work on the project will have been finished by the end of 2011.
