Amazing Tulips show in Balchik sea resort

It is expected that the first flowers in the Botanic Garden in Balchik will blossom in February and tourists will be able to take pleasure in extraordinary plant species till June.
Botanic Garden in Balchik will welcome spring season with “Tulips Show”, announced the director of the park. First flowers are expected to blossom in February and tourists will be able to take pleasure in extraordinary plant species till June. 100 plant species are included in the spring collections of the garden, most of which have been delivered from Holland. Moreover, they are representatives of all groups from the world tulips family.
Provided that the weather in Bulgaria remains warm enough, wild tulips will dress all park alleys. Gardeners explain that first flowers have low stems and racemes have mucronate leaves, coloured in red, orange and yellow.
One of most attractive tulip in the collection is the green-coloured tulip. It has this name owing to its green colour which predominates in the petal in combination with red, pink and white colour.
All visitors will be able to see a representative of black tulips (it is regarded that the colour is cherry).
The collection “Tulips show” will blossom in the Garden of Allah, along the alley of the Roman bath and in other exotic spots in the park.
