The festival of arts Apollonia will be held from 28th of August until 5th of September 2010 in Sozopol coastal resort. Apollonia Festival of Arts is the largest and most popular Bulgarian art forum that takes place in Sozopol beach resort. The organizers of the event promise a varied program that includes new young talents, as well as famous and renowned Bulgarian masters.
The opening of the festival will be marked with a performance at Sozopol theatre. One will be able to attend many interesting exhibitions and admire at pictures of Dechko Uzunov, renowned Bulgarian artist, and Slavka Deneva. During the holidays in the studio library "Father Paisiy will present The exhibition ‘’Unforgettable images’’ will be presented in the hall of the library ‘Otec Paysii’. Movie program will include 9 movies in 8 nights. Music program and all concerts will be spectacular as many talented performers will participate in the events. Prior to the Festival’s beginning Apollonia Art Academy will be organizing two courses piano masterclass and string Quartet Masterclass.
The International meeting Film and Psychoanalysis will take place in the end of the festival from 3rd until 5th of September 2010. For the first time in Bulgaria, renowned foreign and Bulgarian psychoanalysts and filmmakers will be analysing Bulgarian and foreign films and reviewing the method of film-psychoanalysis, which is of growing global importance.

The Apollonia Art Foundation was established in 1991 succeeding the Academy for Art, founded in 1984. For 25 years the Foundation is producing two of the most respected annual festivals in Bulgaria - the Spring Musical Festival in Sofia and the Apollonia Festival of Arts in Sozopol, Southern Black Sea Coast.The first Apollonia Festival of Arts was held in Sozopol in 1984.
