Bulgaria has the potential to turn into the spa hearth on the Old Continent, as some dozen European countries have sought for the opportunities to invest in local centers. The mostly active in research and interest are the British and Hungarian spa associations that have tabled ready-made projects for the development of Bulgarian spa tourism, the Chief Executive of the National Association on Balneology and Tourism Tsveti Milanova said. Two balneo and a spa centre to attract some EUR 2-3 M investments will start operating in the capital city, she added. The Rhodopes' spa pearl Devin braces for the construction of several spa-equipped hotels with the purpose to eventually offer 1,500 bedspaces. see source
