Three thousand tourists come to ski in Bansko, four ski runs are ready in Pamporovo
Over 3000 tourists were on the ski runs in Bansko yesterday," Standart learnt. The majority are foreigners, but Bulgarian ski lovers also enjoy the excellent weather and perfect ski runs. There are five outstanding ski layouts prepared in Bansko for winter sports fans. World famous skiers Mark Girardelli and Reinfried Herbst opened the ski season this year. Equipment for artificial snow, 75 snow making machines are working at full swing, compensating for the lack of snow so typical this winter. The ski resort of Pamporovo has accommodated 1700 foreign tourists so far and five artificial snow machines make snow for the ski fans there.
