We checked in early and out late. The reception staff could not do enough to help us. The hotel itself is pretty basic but very comfy and a great breakfast. Dinner wasn't perfect but the service made up for it. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I ages ranging from 9 to 70 had a lovely holiday skiing and snowboarding in Borovets Bulgaria The 2 Daisy apartments and 2 studios we rented were lovely and kept beautifully clean by the attentive staff .The buffet breakfast and evening meal were generous with enough choice for everyone and the staff were able to deal with one of of our group of elevens dietary needs getting in food especially for her. I definitely recommend Daisy apartments .Also its very handy for the lifts and the nursery slope is just across the road .

Managers should advice cleaning staff how to professionally clean room.
There is constant smell of home dust.
Also big problem is hot water in bath.
It cannot be controlled. 1/2 of millimeter moves for right position.
And hot is more then 70 deg, so is very dangerous for kids.

If you're after an apartment rather than a room then Daisy is ideal. We had a bedroom, a bathroom and a lounge with sofa-bed and kitchen. It's about 7 mins to the gondola and the same if you head to the chair lifts down in the village. The restaurant is great. The food is really good. Three courses if you want it (we we're half board) so breakfast and dinner all sorted. It takes about 1 hour 10 min to get there from Sofia airport.
The only issue I had is the staff. They're so miserable. It made absolutely no difference to our stay as we're out on the slopes & bars but it's just a real shame that there are very few smiles around. Some of the reception staff were nice, as was our daily room maid but the restaurant staff were so grumpy. A real shame.

The staff on the reception are not friendly, not kind and they don't recpect the clients.The lobby is very small and the staff on the reception hate that the guessts sits there. They turn off wifi

Very nice staff, food good be better. The sofa beds are good till 8 year old kids, after that please profide normal single beds. The sofa beds are the only reason we will look for other hotels. From parking staff to cook, from reception to cleaning staff keep up the good work and keep giving us the smile.

I went to Borovets with friends for a long weekend snowboarding. We weren't too sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised.
The apartments were nice we had 4 and everyone one was completely different. They all served their purpose and were unique in their own way. We came to the conclusion they must be privately owned?!
If you like eggs you'll like breakfast i think there must have been 5 different hot plates of varied cooked eggs my friend loved the eggy bread....yuck never mind i survived. There was other things to eat if you like foreign bacon!
The resort is quite a small area but you have everything you need without spending your money on rubbish! Although talking of money it is reasonably cheap there so you can really live it up for next to nothing compared to those countries using euro’s!
Mamacita's restaurant if you like Mexican was the best so i would recommend that, most of the others were average or poor!
Snowboarding the first day was hard work because it hadn't snowed for 2 weeks and it was icy at the top of the mountains so it was was a bit hard on the legs. Friday night it snowed all night and we woke to fresh powder what a dream! That's how it stayed for the the next couple of days so it was an absolute pleasure there. I wouldn't go for more than 4 days i think you would have done all of the runs by then and start getting bored!

Stayed in a 4 person apartment for a week's skiing holiday with family. Have stayed in loads of skiing places across the Alps and this topped them all. I was very impressed; the accommodation is very new, equipped with high quality furnishings and very clean. The rooms were also cleaned/towels changed every day. There was only a small kitchenette, with 2 ring hob but it had a fridge and we had no intention of cooking so not a problem. Apartments are situated 50m from the ski school meeting point and it is also possible to ski down to the Gondola so the location is great. Very good value for money vs. alpine resorts.
My wife had a massage at the spa in the hotel and enjoyed that also
Borovets itself is ideal as a beginners resort. I wanted my 2 kids to learn to ski so it was great for that. However, an experienced skier will ski the whole resort in 1.5 days. The village itself is also lots of fun and we were able to eat out well every evening.
