Tintyava and Nevena are traditional Bulgarian guesthouses in the architectural and historic village of Bozhentzi located 15 km away from Gabrovo and 201 km away from Sofia. The region is famous for its rich historical heritage and unspoiled nature. An old legend says that the village was founded by Bozhana. She had escaped from Veliko Tarnovo, the Bulgarian capital destroyed by the Ottomans in the 14th century AD, and settled in the venerable woods to build a village which was later named after her.
