Brand Bulgaria- is it possible

A new strategy for the overall vision of Bulgaria tourism will be developed for the first time in Bulgaria. The establishment of a national, regional and product brands is a part of the project ‘Development of a strategy for brand Bulgaria and implementation of a practice of an integrated and consistent brand management’. The project should have been fulfilled by the end of 2011.The aim of the project is to increase the awareness of Bulgaria as a holiday destination and develop a strategy for the brand of the country, including product co-brands, depending on the various types of tourism- sea , ski , cultural , eco, rural, Spa , wellness. There will be a strategy for the branding of all tourist areas and one common regional tourist brand.

The results of marketing surveys among foreign tourists will be analyzed within the framework of the project. Also, Bulgarian’s interests in all services will be measured. The analysis will accentuate on 10 major markets. Of course, the branding strategies of competitive destinations will be also analyzed. The research of the local practices in the tourism branch and work the NGOs in the tourism will be also taken into consideration.

A branding strategy for Bulgaria as a holiday destination will be also developed. It will include the vision, mission, key markets, positioning, personality, emotional benefits and associations, messages and recommendable symbols.
