Bulgaria awaits Romanian tourists

A new project ‘’A catalogue of Bulgaria tourism’’ was issued and it is aimed at attracting Romanian tourists.
The goal of the initiative is the professional representation of Bulgaria as an attractive holiday destination for Romanian tourists and making popular Bulgaria’s tourist sites in all their kinds in front of the mass and specialised audience in Romania.
The catalogue has been published as a reply to the growing interest of Romanian tourists in Bulgaria. It is noticeable that our neighbours are attracted by the charm of Bulgaria’s natural splendours, because 660 955 Romanian tourists visited Bulgaria in the period January-August 2009. The figures proved that Romania is ranked first among all foreign tourists in Bulgaria.
The catalogue will be in colour and it will be issued in two versions-online and paper. The edition will be in Romanian language and it will be circulated free of charge in Bulgaria’s northern neighbouring country by the courtesy of the Association of Romanian tourist agencies.
The brochure will include comprehensive information for Bulgaria hotels and their contact details, tourist landmarks in the respective region, entertainment places, shopping, dining options and etc. The information is organized, depending on the kind of tourism.
Another part of the edition will include contact details of Bulgarian and Romanian tourist agencies.
The premiere of ‘’Catalogue of Bulgarian tourism’’ will be at the Spring Tourism Expo in Bucharest which is due to take place from 25th until 28th of March 2010 in the biggest Exhibition centre in Romania-Romexpo.
