Bulgaria Expects 350 000 Business Guests

Convention visitors to Bulgaria are expected to number 350 000 this year, marking a significant increase over the past five years. That was broken by Deputy Culture Minister Dimitar Hadzhinikolov at the opening of Bulgaria's key annual tourism event, Bulgaria Dream Area. The international forum is being held in Sofia on Friday, with the participation of more than 150 experts and state representatives. In five years the number of convention visitors to Bulgaria has grown by almost 90%, Hadzhinikolov told participants. Held under the heading "Bulgaria - The Future Regional Convention Centre", the conference is pursuing to instigate vivid discussions on the opportunities of convention and visitors tourism in Bulgaria. see source
