Bulgaria is the honoured guest at Polish Tourist Trade Fair 'Tour Salon'

Bulgaria is an honoured guest at this year's edition of the International Tourist Trade Fair "Tour Salon" in Poznan, Poland. The good news was announced by the Bulgarian Economy Ministry. The three-day forum began on 20th of October 2010. Bulgaria placed at the forum an advertising stand of 80 sq.m. It featured the country's Economy Ministry, 10 tourist companies and the municipalities of the Black Sea towns of Nessebar and Sozopol.
This year’s Tour Salon featured also many Polish tour operators and tourist agencies and, therefore, it was an opportunity for business negotiations. In this year's edition of the fair 600 participants from 46 countries were presented. About 3,000 representatives of the tourist sector and 50,000 visitors were expected. As an honored guest, Bulgaria has presented itself with national and traditional dishes, degustation of Bulgarian wines, eco products and a special movie that focuses on the sensational archaeological discoveries in Sozopol. 268,624 Polish tourists visited Bulgaria last year and this marked an increase of 71,2%, compared to 2008.
