Bulgaria is nominated for a prosperous golf destination

Bulgaria received the award for ‘’Uncovered tourism destination’’ of 2012 and this is good news since the award is given by International association of golf touroperators. The award is bestowed within the framework of World Golf tourism fair in Belek, Turkey which 1400 representatives of golf industry took part in. This industry has been developed in Bulgaria for 10 years and the country was recognized as a prosperous gold destination in Europe and all over the globe, said Bulgarian minister of tourism. Six beautifully designed golf playgrounds, beautiful nature, favourable relief and climate make golf one of Bulgaria’s fast developing forms of tourism. Thus, Bulgarian tourism product is diversified. Bulgaria competed with Columbia, Spain, Iceland and India. Bulgaria participated in the tourism fair in Turkey with a separate counter at which 6 golf playgrounds were presented.
