Bulgaria ranked sixth in adventure tourism

According to "George Washington" university in Washington, USA, Bulgaria ranks on sixth place among developing countries as far as adventure tourism is concerned, reveals econ.bg. Bulgaria is among 10 best destinations for adventure tourism along with Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Israel, Chile, Estonia, Jordan and others.
The research was jointly developed by the American Association for adventure tourism and a large consulting company. The report did not provide specific numbers of tourist visits. The processed data is based on important factors such as sustainability, safety, rich natural resources for adventure activities and attitudes of the world towards Bulgaria. Six of top 10 countries are located in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Slovakia occupies the first place among countries from Central and Eastern Europe.
