Bulgaria’s seaside resort Nessebar shows off new lights view

The Old Town of Bulgaria’s famous Black Sea resort of Nessebar boasts a new night lights view, announced the Nessebar Municipality. The new lights, making the night walk to the small peninsula of the Old Town of Nessebar even more pleasant and romantic, because the isthmus, connecting the new and old part of the resort, has been equipped with 68 diode lanterns installed into the sidewalk on both sides of the main alley. Therefore, new illumination of Old Nessebar does put the emphasis not only on the narrow land, connecting the small peninsula, but also boost the natural charm of the old town. The new energy-saving lights are 24-volt and therefore they are safe for pedestrians. The Nessebar Municipality announced that the new night lights of the Old Town are only one of its initiatives to promote in a better way the natural and historic features of the only resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast that boasts ancient history and splendid modern appearance. Nessebar has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The new lights in Nessebar are considered to be a boost not just for Nessebar’s summer tourism, but also for presenting better its ancient historic and cultural heritage.
