Bulgarian hotel takes part in Luxury Tourism Awards Competition 2011

Bulgaria’s Festa Winter Palace hotel competes to be the most luxurious hotel in Europe. The winner of the competition will be announced at the official ceremony Luxury Tourism Awards 2011. Bulgaria’s Festa Winter Palace hotel is nominated to participate in the contest ‘’The most luxurious hotel in Europe’’. 5-star hotel in Borovets is the only one accommodation which is a representative of the whole Eastern Europe. All participants in the contests are nominated by the scientific committee of Luxury Tourism Awards. In order to provide most precise results, the committee used a software which is developed by a Swiss university. The algorhytm Web2rism automatically analyzes all booking websites and web pages which have comments and customers’ complaints. The aim is to form a justified evaluation of hotels which offer luxury tourism and rank them upon their prestige, exquisiteness and high level of services. All hotels which received the highest mark for a specific geographical location participate in the final phase of the contest.

The CEO of the hotel chain ‘Festa Hotels’ commented that the news was a surprise for the management and they expressed their satisfaction that the nomination was a result of customers’ opinions. She also pointed out that it’s a recognition that Bulgaria participates as a holiday destination in such a prestigious business forum. Also, it’s given an honour to Festa Hotels which is an entirely Bulgarian hotel chain.

Bulgaria’s Festa Winter Palace is the first Eastern European hotel which was nominated to compete for the prestigious award. The winner will be announced at the official ceremony Luxury Tourism Awards 2011. It is a part of an International business exhibition for luxury tourism ‘Meeting Luxury’. It will take place in Switzerland from 31st march until 2nd of April 2011.
