EU funds under the project “Aid for the development of tourism attractions” will be absorbed by 148 Bulgarian municipalities.
Municipalities should apply for the funding on the basis of a regional development program. Municipalities can submit their application until the 4th of September.
The total amount of the funding is 82 858 124 BGN.
The goal of the project is to create competitive tourism products in various parts of the country, which will contribute to the diversification of the tourist product. Thus, the concentration on a specific area will be avoided.
