Ecotourism in Bulgaria rapidly gains popularity

Tourism among the nature is one of fast growing market niches at the world tourism market. This was reported during the presentation of the work on the program for the development of ecotourism in Bulgaria and the program for the development of Bulgarian rural tourism.
Ecotourism accumulates 7% of all funds for international trips. Furthermore, all expenses for ecotourism are increased by 20% on an annual basis which is five times more than the average growth of tourism industry on the whole. Travels close to nature have increased their number by 10-30% on an annual basis.
