Entry visas for Russians will be extended

Bulgarian government decided to extend the duration of entry visas for Russians who will visit Bulgaria. Therefore, now visas will be valid for 30 days. The decision is related to the current situation in Russia and summer conflagrations in the country. Many Russian holidaymakers were worried about these issues and they wanted to be notified of whether it is legal to extend their stay. The extension of the entry visas will be applicable to all visitors who arrived in Bulgarian and as of 8th of August they hold valid short-term visas. If Russian holidaymakers will leave Bulgaria until 6th of September 2010, no penalties will be imposed. The number of Russian visitors was increased by 29.2% in comparison to the same period last year.
