Environmentalists discuss opportunities and ways for the development of tourism

Sliven City will be host to Bulgarian environmentalists who will participate in a discussion “Development of environment-friendly tourism in close proximity and also on areas of natural and national parks in Bulgaria”. The forum is organized within the project “Preservation of biodiversity in Stara Mountain”.

The project is referred also to national parks “Sinite Kamani” (“Sliven Blue Rocks”), “Vrachanski Balkan” and National Park “Central Balkan”, as well as the area of Kotel. Invitations for participation in discussions are sent to representatives of natural parks, local authorities, local administrations, non-governmental organizations and tourist agencies. Bulgarian and foreign experience will be presented in order to work out important biodiversity practices in tourism and to discuss the specific opportunities and tourist products for the area of Nature Park “Sinite Kamani” and Kotlenskata Mountain.
