Expert group will encourage investments in golf tourism in Bulgaria

Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev issued an order by which an expert work group was made in order to develop the main trends for the encouragement of investments in Bulgarian golf tourism. The group is led by Bulgarian Minister of the Regional Development and Bulgarian Minister of ecology. The head chair of State Tourism Agency Mrs.Aneliya Krushkova and Mr.Savin Kovachev are members of the group as well.
It is believed that one of the main obstacles for the development of golf tourism in Bulgaria is the current bad infrastructure.
However, the work group approved the main directions of the development of golf tourism in Bulgaria.
The group reported that there is great potential in about 20 golf playgrounds to be built, but the process of their construction takes a long time and the plans for it are to be carried gradually over a long period.
