Exploration of the Archaeological reserve Abritus continues

Although sufficient funds have not been provided this year, explorations in the Archaeological Reserve Abritus tend to continue.The so-called early town, dating back to 2rd-3th century BC that lies outside the fortress walls of Abritus, is being explored., said Ivan Ivanov, the director of the Regional History Museum. Exploration works do not aim to examine a specific object, but find one. Excavations will continue until the end of August. The goal of the new researches is to expand the area of exploration and obtain new information and historic relations.
