Extreme ski and snowboard competition in Borovets ski resort

For third consecutive year, Slope Style competition for the prestigious cup ‘’Ice Angels’’ will take place on the 30th of January 2010 in Borovets winter resort. The competition is organized by Bulgarian freestyle and extreme ski association, Sports club ‘’Ice Angels’’ and the concessioner of Borovets ski tracks ‘’Borosport’’. The slope style is a discipline that requires special skills and various tricks that should be performed during the downhill. This is what really makes the discipline so attractive for the audience. The best freestyle skiers and snowboarders will compete on a special trace on the lower part of the ski track ‘’Iglika’’ /it is in front of Rila Hotel/. The competition is divided into ‘-particular time, which contestants will allocate to use ski runs and facilities as the major aim is to accomplish the most difficult tricks in series. All participants will have two qualifications and the final runs will be three. The competition is due to start on 12 o’clock and it will continue until 7pm. For all spectators-fans of the adrenaline activities, an air bag will be installed and everyone may try the thrill of jumping safely.
