Festival of Bulgarian crafts to be a pleasure of Veliko Turnovo’s guests

National customs related to Christian holidays before and during Christmas have been presented in the historical town Veliko Turnovo for one month (1-31 December). Festival of national crafts will be also held in May 2009. Participants from Poland, Greece, Malta and France will take part in the both forums. Romanian representatives will also attend the events. The great number of tourists who visit Veliko Turnovo during Christmas holidays will have the opportunity to see, try and buy works of national art, souvenirs and food, typical for the popular customs of the mentioned countries. This was announced by the Chairman of Municipality Tourism Agency after a meeting with countries representatives. The meeting was organized within the project United in Europe with our cultural and historical heritage, which was won by Veliko Turnovo Municipality.
