Fish and mussel festival 2009 in Kavarna

The traditional “Fish and Mussel festival 2009” will take place in Kavarna from the 4th of September until the 6th of September. The Fish and Mussel Festival is considered one of the biggest summer tourist attractions of Kavarna.
In the course of the 6th edition of the attractive festival, residents and guests alike will be invited to taste the diversity of fish and mussel delicacies which will be available in the center of the seaside town. The festival will be attended by master-chefs from the country and abroad who will compete with each other for the preparation of the best seafood dish.
The mayor of Kavarna will mark the beginning of the festival with his own specialty.
The interesting festival will be officially opened on the 4th of September with a great music show. The spectacle “Melodies of the body” starts at 8 o’clock. After that the guests will be able to enjoy the concert of the Bulgarian rap band Upsurt. Joe Lynn Turner and his latest band “Over the Rainbow” will entertain all guests and residents of Kavarna on the 5th of September. The festival will be closed on the 6th of September by a great concert of the Bulgarian rock band “Singnal”.
