German archaeologists investigate the excavations of prehistoric sanctuary nea

14 German archaeologists explored the excavations of the prehistoric settlement near the village Telish,Pleven region. German university professor has showed special interest towards the reconstruction of the two houses, dating back to the 5th century B.C. The Bulgarian leader of the excavations emphasized that these lodgings are the only ones of their kind in Europe which were discovered so far. Besides excavations, German archaeologists decided to visit the Museum of Ceramics. The museum of great importance as it is the only one of its kind, housing four halls, in which ceramic items, dating back to the Antiquity, are on display. A visit to the Regional History Museum in Pleven region was also included in the program of the German guests.
