12 000 tourists have visited the holiday town this year

Good tourism year was reported for Vurshets during the bilateral economic forum, having been held in the City Gallery with the participation of Serbian representatives.

A growth of 5000 tourists more compared to the last year is registered. The rush season of visits is in August, because Vurshets as a town of health is preferred for family holidays. 35 new tourist objects in the municipality have been categorized this year. At the end of the forum, participants got acquainted with the development of the project “Eco Park for holiday and tourism-town of Vushets”. The video movie, produced upon the project and the renovated park infrastructure contribute to the popularization and development of stable tourist product in the municipality.

Vurshets Town

Vurshets is a town situated in the northern foothills of the western part of the Balkan Range. One of the oldest and most popular resorts in Northern Bulgaria, it is famous for its curative mineral springs, mild mountain climate, beautiful scenery and a large well-kept park. In the region of Vurshets there are many interesting landmarks and places for recreation. The nearest place is the Waterfall - about 3 km from the baths.
