Green, but still attractive and favourite sea resort of Sozopol

Sozopol sea resort to become the centre of tourism and trade on the Southern Black Sea coast Tourism everywhere and in all its forms-this kind of development is the aim of Sozopol Municipality for the next 15 years. Low-built coastal villas, golf playgrounds, aqua parks; attractions are some of the examples which show the ambition of Sozopol Municipality to be a pioneer in the development of agriculture, crafts and tourism. It is planned to be turned into the tourist and trade centre on the south of Bourgas. The new common construction plan of Sozopol foresees some changes related to the building of golf playgrounds in the town system, aqua parks near the village Rosen where a vast area is allocated for villas. The amusement zone will be in the region of camping Gradina and Zlatna Ribka. Trade centre and malls will be built near the road Bourgas-Tsarevo. Furthermore, Sozopol Municipality will put all its efforts in making the famous Bulgarian sea resort something different from the usual splendid sea resort with luxurious hotels, many casinos, discos, entertainment parks and so on. What Sozopol aims at is to create green, healthy, but still attractive and popular sea resort. Instead of the construction of some of the above-mentioned golf playgrounds, pedestrian alleys will be made in the swamp Alepu as well as more green zones can be seen in Sozopol area in the near future.
