Archaeological and Ethnographic complex Etara gathers masters from all over the world

More than 80 masters from Bulgaria, Romania, Morocco, UK and Japan will take part in the 8th International Fair of traditional crafts in Bulgaria’s ethnographic complex Etara near the town of Gabrovo.
Masters will demonstrate all crafts-pottery, coppersmith’s trade, basket-making, weaving, cutlery, woodworking, icon painting, embroidery within the four days of the festival in the beautiful Bulgarian architectural and ethnographic complex. Foreign masters will create knitting work and decorations and curious visitors will be able to see various techniques. Pottery making and Japanese arts will be also presented at the event.
The winner of the traditional competition will be announced at the ‘’Night of the master’. International scientific conference ‘National crafts-past, present and future’ is also held within the framework of the fair and representatives of Bulgaria, Morocco and Japan will participate with their scientific messages.

- 1.00 p.m. Folklore group at the cultural centre „Paisii Hilendarski-1908” –the village of Gradnitsa
