Israeli tourists will flock to Bulgaria

150 000 Israeli tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria this year. This was announced by Israel Ambassador during a press conference in Nessebar. The ambassador discussed all issues related to tourism and investments with the mayor of Nessebar. The ambassador declared that nearly 500 000 tourists from Israel are in search of a new holiday destination and therefore there are valid grounds to believe that the majority of them will choose Bulgaria. The conflict between Israel and Turkey has influenced the tourist flow and many Israeli tourists cancelled their booking for Turkey’s seaside and diverted to Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. However, Bulgaria will see a growth of the number of Israeli tourists next year. Apart from holidaying, Israeli tourists would visit the country for shopping purposes, because of the good price-quality ratio. In addition, many Israeli like visiting the country for gambling purposes.
