Bulgaria’s beach resort Kavarna has many interesting events in its summer calendar 2013. There are many concerts, cultural and sports tourism opportunities which will attract many fans.
The new tourism season starts in the beginning of May with the holidays of the city. Kavarna has celebrated the start of the season within May 6th and May 9th. The 10th edition of the International kids folklore event “With Bulgarian in the heart” is held on May 10th and May 11th.
Just a couple of days later, on May 15th, 2013, the world golf championship will start. The most important cultural event in Kavarna, the world-famous Kavarna Rock festival, will be held on June 1st and June 2nd 2013.
According to the representatives from Kavarna municipality, the biggest rock music names will attract many fans from all European countries and it’s expected that many tourists will visit Kavarna beach resort in summer 2013. Many rock music fans from Russia, Serbia, Macedonia and Romania have already booked their accommodation. Another interesting festival which worth attending is the festival “Neptune and friends” which will take place this summer. To mark the end of the summer season, Kavarna will surprise its guests with the traditional “Fish and Mussel” festival which will take plan on September 20th, 2013.
