Tsar Osvoboditel monument |
The monument of King Liberator /Tsar Osvoboditel/ is an equestrian statue in the very centre of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It lies on the Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, just opposite the National Assembly of Bulgaria and with the Radisson SAS Hotel behind it.

Patriarch Evtimii monument |
Monument to Patriarch Evtimii, last patriarch of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, rises at the intersection of central Sofia’s streets. The location is also popular as ‘Popa’ which stands for ‘The Priest’-key meeting point in Sofia. The imposing monument to Patriarch Evtimii was built to commemorate one of the most glorious names in Bulgarian history.

The Monument of the Soviet Army was erected in honour of the Russian Liberation in Bulgaria in 1944. It is situated in the very center of Sofia city, just opposite the Sofia University. The giant status is a prime example of the forceful socialist-realism of the period.
Alyosha monument |
It rises on the very top of Bounardjik hill. It was unveiled in 1957 and represents an imposing 10.5 m tall statue of a soldier facing to the east. It is more popular with the name Alyosha.

The monument of Philip II of Macedon - the father of Alexander the Great - downtown Plovdiv. Philip II of Macedon conquered the Thracian city of Eumolpias in 342 B.C. and gave his name to the city - Philippopolis.
Mother Bulgaria monument |
The monument is settled in the center of the town of Veliko Tarnovo and even some people consist that it is the center of the town. The monument is devoted to the fighters, who lost their lives in four wars – Russian – Turkish, Serbian – Bulgarian, the Balkan and the First World war.
The Bell Tower |
The Bell tower of the town of Bansko was built in 1866 by the self – taught master machine – builder and inventor Todor Hadjiradonov from Bansko. The building of the Tower and the mounting of the clockwork was a significant technical performance for its times. The construction and the execution of the clockwork mechanism and the assembly of details speak of high technical accuracy.
The clock tower - Varna |
Even in the middle of the XVIII th century the town of Varna disposed of a clock tower. Sahat-kula was situated in the town garden behind the nowadays building of the theater. It was used by firemen as a fire-tower. It is supposed to have been destroyed during the siege of the town in 1828 or in the great fire in Varna during the Krim war (1856-1858).
The Doctors’ Monument |
The Doctors’ Monument, dedicated to the medical staff of the Russian army who fell in the war, rises in the garden behind the National Library and opposite the Sofia University.

It is situated at the of Park "Otdih i kultura" at the western part of the town. It is dedicated to those who have sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman rule and during the Balkan, the First and Second World Wars.

It is raised in the residential district Trakia. The monument was inaugurated on 6 April 2007 in the presence of noted Bulgarian politicians and public figures, led by President Georgi Parvanov.
The monument of the Assens |
During the reign of the Bulgarian Kings Assen the 1st, Peter, Kaloyan and IAssen the 2nd, from 1185 to 1241, the BulgarianMedievalState, with Tarnevgrad as its capital, reached its highest political, economic and cultural peak. The monument of the Assens, is dedicated to these leaders.And was built in honor of the 800th anniversary from the proclamation of Tarnovo as the capital of Bulgaria.
The Spiral Statue |
Opening Date: 31.12.06, and the construction takes a period of 1 year. It is made by Plovdiv Art Center, celebrating the Bulgarian membership in the European Union, an initiative of the former mayor of Plovdiv - Dr. Ivan Chomakov.
The Unification monument |
It was built in 1985 by the sculptor Velichko Minekov and its height is 12 meters. The figure of a young woman represents the unification of Bulgaria and the two outstretched wings of a bird.
Thracian tomb - Kazanlak |
The building material is brick, used two centuries later by the Romans. The frame is of blocks of stone and clay is used as bonding material. It is situated in the southern part of a mound, at ground level.
