Night Skiing at Torch Light in Pamporovo

On Saturday, the winter season in Pamporovo was inaugurated with holy water sprinkling ceremony and fireworks, though without snow. Temperatures at this height are low enough for the proper functioning of the six snow guns, assured from the resort. The resort is completely ready to receive guests and the hotels are 100% booked, tour operators state. The investments made into sports infrastructure this year raised the prices of lift tickets by 6 levs and a lift pass costs 27 levs now. A new terminal has been installed with contactless chips that will considerably enhance the skiers' flow. The ski runs in Pamporovo has been entirely renovated and their total length is now 26 km. The installation of a new four-seat lift is almost completed. The lift goes from the bus station to the Studenets chalet. Its capacity is 2000 people per hour. The tracks in the resort have been widened up to 50 meters at some places and have been leveled to meet all European standards. The new tracks' total length is 5km.
