Norway finances the preservation of the archaeological Perperikon in Bulgaria

Financial aid for the preservation of the cultural and historic heritage of Bulgaria will be provided by Norway. The state will finance the preservation of the Perperikon, one of Bulgaria’s major archaeological landmarks.
The Ambassador of Norway visited Perperikon due the invitation of Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov. The Ambassador of USA was also impressed by the archaeological site and declared that Perperikon has a potential to attract tourists from Norway and USA as long as the landmark is properly preserved and promoted.
