Pamporovo to become the biggest ski centre on the Balkan Peninsula

Pamporovo will be turned into the place boasting the longest net of ski tracks on the Balkan Peninsula. The construction of two new ski runs with the total length of 7km has been already planned and it has been valued at 7 million€. Pamporovo ski tracks will be connected with those of Chepelare and Perelik. At the present time the total length of the existing ski tracks is around 55km. New villas village nearby the village Stoykite is planned to be built and it will amount to 20 million€. Obviously, ski infrastructure of Pamporovo has improved a great deal in recent years due to the hard, serious work and significant investments, having been made. Nowadays, Pamporovo ski lifts service 8600 tourists and a project for the construction of new lift to a total length of 3km has been approved.

Two new ski tracks to the total length of about 2,7km will be exploited from the beginning of winter season in Pamporovo. They are in the zone around the area Qzovira and the tourist track. The capacity of ski routes in Pamporovo winter resort will reach 1800-2000 skiers owing to the new ski tracks, which are marked in red.
