Comment: Old Nessebar beautiful by day a living hell at night with so much techno music boom booming all night directly into the open air you would never think this was supposed to be a centre of Cultural Heritage loved and protected by UNESCO. After a week of this incessant and out of control noise I was glad to return home

Comment: What a Beutiful area of BG Nessebar is, highly recommend to anyone visiting this coatal area for a bit of cultural experiance. Puts Sunny Beach to shame, although that alos has it's uses.

Comment: while in bulgaria, i visited bourgas and near by nessebar and... i loved them both. nessebar was so beautiful, with its old homes and ruins. the beach was beautiful as well and the city of nessebar had such a great atmosphere. i was very impressed with the cuisine, people, city, and beach... i have visited 34 countries in all and bulgari is one of my very favorites because of its nature, beach, mountains, and people.if you know where to go and what do you will have a great, great time... i will definetly return with my family in the future!!!

Comment: My husband and I visited Old Nesebar last June 04 and Aug 04. After the razamataz of Sunny Beach the old town of Nesebar was a lovely change. The winding streets with so many shops selling the usual sort of tourist junk just did not put us off. There are so many other things to look at---the buildings the views. Just go over there for the evening sit at one of the fantastic restaurants either overlooking the sea or across the bay to Sunny Beach. Walking on the cobbled streets is an experiance in itself, you have to watch your step. We also got lost amongst the winding streets that was very exciting, perhaps the wine muddled our brains.
We came off the Isithimis and followed a coastal path and eventually came to a very large beach this turned out to be the beach of the new town Nesebar. Here you find people going about there everyday business living the Bulgarian life. There are schools supermarkets and many many bars and restarants. A busy little town that you can mingle with the locals, here you canl be part of the real Bulgaria with a slightly modern slant
We liked the place so much we bought an apartment and we are returning June 05.

Comment: the old town is the only place in the whole world where i love to get lost. but i've spend so much time there, that i can hardly do it more. but still, when i succeed, the feeling is fantastic.
try it yourself too!

Comment: Nesebar is one of the old towns with whas been part of ancient greek history. The influences are nowdays still there. The music is very similar to greek folk music. The old wooden houses are typical build and can be only be found in a few places, like Nesebâr and for example Sozopol. You still can see/feel these influences. It is (to me) also one of the more favorite beaches of Bulgaria. The resort of sunny beach is nearby.
