‘’The Road of Roman emperors’’ will attract foreign tourists

Bulgaria and Serbia have discussed a joint product in the sphere of tourism. Its name is The Road of Roman Emperors through the Balkans. The tourist route ‘’The road of Roman Emperors’’ connects towns where Roman Emperors were born. Bulgaria is particularly interested in the topic, regarding roads of Roman Emperors, and therefore it will be discussed with representatives from Serbia, Romania so that a joint project will be launched in the near future. The accent of the project will be put upon SPA and wine tourism. Bulgaria’s Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister Ivo Marinov discussed the project with his Serbian counterpart Goran Petkovic. Representatives of Bulgarian Association for Balneology and SPA tourism reported that they introduced to foreign guests all opportunities for the development of wellness and SPA tourism in Bulgaria, as well as the wealth of mineral springs which may be used for both rehabilitation and healing. Foreign guests were surprised by the natural resources of Bulgaria and they showed great interest to cooperate in the tourism sphere.
