Romanian tourists discovered the charm of Bulgaria’s inner resorts and also considered Bulgaria as an attractive ski venue. For instance, according to official figures, the number of Romanian tourists who spend their ski holiday in Bulgaria’s premier resort Bansko has grown significantly.

Since tourism in Bulgaria has been developed and the country is constantly working on the creation of a better tourist product, many Romanians decided to buy villas and apartments at Bulgaria’s Black Sea. Bulgaria has launched aggressive promotional and ad campaign in Romania and therefore Borovets, Bansko, Pamporovo were visited by many Romanian tourists. In the beginning of 2010 Bulgaria’s resorts were introduced in Romania at the forum ‘Bulgaria- four seasons SPA, balneology and wellness tourism’. According to a survey, Romanian tourists choose Bulgaria due to the good price/value ratio.

The budget allocated for the event allows to tourists to be accommodated in a 4-star hotel.

What about the development of adventure tourism on the banks of the Danube River
