Akord Hotel

Overall the hotel is decent. However the staff acts absolutely unprofessional. Only if you like to be completely dismissed and wait for a long time should you try the restaurant. The wait staff is focused on serving only large groups. Individual clients are not important for them, which is why you won’t get a lot of attention. In the lobby bar, half of the clientele is the cleaning people from the hotel, who are smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. Also, DON’T USE ANY LAUNDRY SERVICE OR GOODS FROM THE FRIDGE -- the prices they charged are outrageous. I spent 45 min when I was checking out complaining about my charges, until they were dropped in half.In addition, the wireless doesn’t work well -- you have to go to the lobby where everybody smokes if you want consistent access.

Akord Hotel

We had never been to Bulgaria before so choosing a hotel was a bit hit and miss.
The Staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful, although some of the restaurant staff couldn't speak English we had great fun with them using our broken Bulgarian.
The standard of the food was very good.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
All in all, a good find and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
