The city Haskovo will represent the country at the French tourist exhibition

It will be the second time when Days of Bulgaria will be promoted in the French cities Montpellier and Charnoz.
The representatives of the city of Haskovo will be given the opportunity to demonstrate the culture, traditions, crafts of Haskovo region, as well as the food, drinks typical of the area in several halls.
The representatives of local authority, business, and culture and tourist department of Haskovo will meet their colleagues from Montpellier and Charnoz at the exhibition. The Bulgarian group arrives in France today. Sofia was the representative of Bulgaria at the Days of Bulgaria last year.
The Municipality of Haskovo is situated in the hilly planes of South-Eastern Bulgaria on the crossroad between Europe, the Near and Middle East.Like most of the centuries-old towns, Haskovo has had different names. Some say that the first name of the settlement was “The Clean Town” or “White Spring”.
