The first ski resort in Eastern Rhodopes to welcome tourists this winter season

The first ski resort in the Eastern Rhodopes will start functioning this winter. The first ski track is situated near the village of Tunkovo. Its altitude is 700m and length is 1km.Investment in resort infrastructure is estimated to reach 300 000 EUR as funding has been won under the PHARE program project.
Ski lovers who will choose the new winter destination will be able to accommodate in a chalet situated near the ski track. Its accommodation capacity is sufficient for 40 people. It is fully renovated and furnished to welcome its first guests.
The terrain will be provided with electricity within a week and the asphalt road leading to the ski track will be available completed by the end of the autumn.
