The hotel of Rila Monastery renovated

Rila Monаstery offers accommodation for its visitors in its recently renovated hotel complex Tsarev Vrah.
After lands were returned to the Rila Monаstery, it was able to launch the renovation works. A company has been chosen to manage the hotel and staff has been hired as well. The Father Superior of the monastery said that the complex has undergone serious renovation and it offers accommodation in excellent conditions. The price per bed in single and double room is 30 BGN per night and a room for 3 visitors costs 75 BGN per night. The hotel has not been given any stars, however, the quality is the paramount priority.
The hotel’s accommodation capacity is sufficient for 150 people. Some of the rooms have not undergone renovation yet, but it is scheduled to take place in 2010.
The visitors can also spend the overnight in the monastery’s complex itself. The price per person per night is 12 BGN in the new part of the monastery. Worshippers usually are accommodated in the old part.
Summer garden-restaurant was opened in the complex ‘Tsarev Vrah’ two weeks ago. Guests like eating there since there is a barbeque and all tables are a few meters from the river. Thus, visitors can feel close to the nature.
Bulgarians and foreign tourists alike visit the holy Rila cloister as it is really a sacred place which worth seeing.
