The Project “Road of milk” preserves traditions and boost tourism in Rhodopes

The project “The road of milk” will be carried out like “The road of wine” in Elzas.
The project envisages to boost regional development in the mountainous area of the green Rhodopes Mountain and to turn it into an attractive tourism destination.
In fact, the project also aims to bring to lift traditional milk production practices. Tourists will get acquainted with local ways and traditiond of milk processing and the making of dairy products.
Co-writers of the project emphasize on the advertisement opportunities of the region with “The road of milk”. The main idea is to preserve local traditional products and processing techniques in authentic way and to turn the region into even more attractive tourism venue.
The Road of Milk is one of the alternative ways for the Rhodopes to preserve the identity of the region, its key features in cultural, geographic and historical aspect.
