The tourist flow in the area of Trigrad has increased doubly

The tourist flow in the area of Trigrad has doubled during the summer season in comparison to the last summer. According to the director of cave club “Silivrqk”, the quickened interest in Trigrad shows that the tourist prefers places with preserved nature, choosing destinations for rural and eco tourism.
Around 20 000 tourists per month have visited Trigrad and the landmarks in the area this summer. Bulgarian, Israel, Romanian, Italian, French and British tourists are the main tourists, going sightseeing in the region of Trigrad. In line with the visit of the unique Trigrad Gorge and the cave “Dqvolsko garlo”, the holiday groups also have turned recently to the offered extreme walking in caves and rocky places. The descent in the cave “Haramiiska dupka is the most popular tourist attraction. The adventures with high adrenaline in the underground of “Haramiiska dupka” are used as extreme teambuilding for many companies. According to managers of international companies, the venture in the cave unites teams.
Not only organized holiday groups of European countries set off to Trigrad, but also it is the first time when foreign tourists, using rent-a-car, have tried new routes there.
Increased wedding tourism is also reported in the Yagodinska cave. Bulgarian couples choose the cave as a place for their forever in love rites. The cave halls are reserved for seven new weddings in September.
