Tourism Expo in Slovakia sees Bulgaria as partner country

Bulgaria will take part for the eighth consecutive time in ITF Slovakiatour 2007 tourism expo. The fair will take place in Bratislava from January 18 to 21. Bulgaria would be partner country of the event, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported. In 2006, nearly 88 700 Slovak tourists visited Bulgaria, deputy head of the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) Stanislav Novakov said. Slovakiatour is the most prominent tourism expo in the country, BTA reported. Nearly 870 participants from 31 countries will take part in the 2007 edition. Bulgaria will be presented as an year-round tourism destination, offering opportunities for various activities. The country already had its stands at a number of tourism exhibitions abroad. There, presenters focused on tourism opportunities in the context of Bulgaria's EU membership. See source
