The first edition of the wine festival “Dionisiopolis 2009” starts today at the Balchik Castle.
Wine tasting, accompanied by exquisite music concerts, will take place from the 12th of June until 14th of June 2009. 10 wine cellars will present their selected collections at the prestigious event. The festival is organized by Balchik Municipality and will take place in the cultural centre “The Castle”.
Guests will be delighted with the concert of famous Bulgarian violinists, which starts at 8pm. Other great music performances are also included in the program.
Top Bulgaria’s sommeliers will assess the quality of the presented wines.
A special wine dinner is also included in the program of the event. Selected dishes will be served with the most suitable wines. Music and culture performances in Renaissance traditional style will take place as a part of the event.
