| There's no doubt that Borovets is the most famous Bulgarian ski- resort. Thousands of foreigners come every year to discover or re- enjoy the perfect pistes, the sun and the gorgeous apres- ski pubs, bars and discos.
There are lots of new things for the coming winter season in Borovets.
The ex one- man chair lift will become a brand- new four- man chair lift. This will help begginners and nature- lovers to use a somehow forgotten part of Rila Mountains- the Sitnyakovo region. The nature is picturesque, the pistes are easy to manage and going down takes about 20 minutes following the curves of a pleasently winding road.
The other old lift known as "Kotva", which was going up to Yasterebts 2 slope will also become a new four- man chair- lift. "Yastrebets" 2 and 3 ski- runs will become easy reachable."Yastrebets" 3 is perfect for intermidiate skiers who are already bored of the baby slopes, and Yastrebets 2 is a run for professionals who would like to let the devil out and fully feel the speed.
The rooms at the "Samokov" and "Olymp" hotels are being absolutely refurbished, the "Rila" hotel is changing the windows' joinery, the "Lion" /ex Sokolets/ has been fully rebuilt. The pistes in front of Rila hotel are broadened.

Ice Angels è il più nouvo albergo 4* a Borovets. E' stato aperto solo 2 mesi fa. La posizione perfetta dell'albergo combinata con l'atmosfera specifica "boutique" rende l'albergo Ice Angels preferito non solo per la sua sistemazione ma anche per la possibilità di godersi la vista meravigliosa prendendo un tè.
Il personale è giovane ed energico, le camere sono arredate in modo bellissimo, c'è un centro benessere sul piano inferiore-sono disponibili tutte le condizioni per le vacanze rilassanti.

L'albergo Rila è stato il più grande della penisola balcanica per molti anni, facendo impressione con i suoi 1300 letti. Lo stesso albergo è diviso in due grandi parti-l'una è per le camere doppie e l'altra-per gli studio. La metà delle camere/studio guardano a sud e offrono una vista incredibile verso le piste. Il nuovo arredamento delle camere le rende molto comode per riposo e relax anche se si trovano nel centro della città con molti ristorante e discoteche attorno.

L'albergo Samokov è uno dei più famosi in Borovets. Le camere sono state restaurate d'autunno nell'anno 2004, e sono molto comode. Il fatto che il bagno e il WC sono separate uno dall'altro è un vantaggio. L'albergo Samokov è sempre stato di alta classe, la sua atmosfera è dovuta alla sua architettura, al personale gentile. L'albergo offre anche una piscina olimpica, bowling, lobby bar. Nel ristorante c'è musica dal vivo.
